Urbina Family Crest
Good evening, today we have the family crest of the last name Urbina.
Last name of Basque origin, descending of the old Señores de Vizcaya. One of the branches founded a new house in Antequera, connecting with the Marquises of Cabriñana, Rozalejo y del Vado; don Andrés Manuel de Urbina, bacame Marquis of Torrecasa on 1722; don Bartolomé José de Urbina, was created Marquis of the Alameda on 1761; and don Cayetano de Urbina was created Count of Cartaojal (title of Naples) on 1744.
Members of this lineage proved their nobility in order to enter Santiago’s Order on 1682;the Order of Calatrava on 1760; and in the Alcántara in the years 1613, 1651 and 1791.
Its Arms: In field of gold a sinople tree, with two wolves pasantes, of sable, one in front and another behind the trunk, frame of azure with eight crosses of gold, a second sinople frame, with a chain with silver links.
