Ferrer Family Crest
Good afternoon, thanks to the people visiting us from Santiago de Chile; Sorocoba, Sao Paulo and Lomas del Mirador, Buenos Aires. Today we are posting the family crest of the last name Ferrer.
Last name of English origin that extended to Cataluña. It is then Catalan, although later on some branches passed to Baleares, Aragón and Valencia. San Vicente Ferrer belonged to this branch . In repeated occasions the families Ferrer proved its nobility in Santiago’s Orders, Calatrava, Mountain, Carlos III and San Juan de Jerusalén. Don Antonio de Ferrer became baron of Sabasona on December 21, 1784. And don Melchor de Ferrer was authorized to use in Spain the nobility title of Baron de Ferrer.
Its Arms: In Field of gules three bands of gold, loaded each one with one of gules.
