Iriarte Family Crest

Good evening, today I have for you the family crest of the last name Iriarte.

It seems to be that the oldest solar house of the last name Iriarte was in the valley of Valdorba (Vizcaya), where a tower existed eith this name. This lineage also possessed solar houses in Navarrese, Guipúzcoa and Alava, and then moved to Logroño.
Don Francisco of Iriarte and Sáiz de Aldana, natural of Zalduelo (Alava), was secretary of S. M. in the Council of Treasury and dressed the uniform of the Order of Alcántara, on 1654, after demonstrating his hidalguía and nobility.
Don Miguel of Iriarte and Licieta made proof of blood before the Inquisition of Mexico, in order to obtain Notary’s position, he resided in Jalapa, in the year 1787.
Its Arms: In silver field a sinople oak, mount in base of the same, frutado of gold, with two sable wolves, confronted to the foot of the trunk.
