Verdejo Family Crest

This old and noble lineage, according to don Julio de Atienza, it is of Castilian origin. The primitive house of this lastname was established in the land of the Montañas de León. Don Fernando de Verdejo, knight of the Sacred Sepulcher, is the oldest person with this last name that we know of. Knights of this lineage proved nobility in the Order of Calatrava in, 1703, in the Real Chancillería de Valladolid in the year 1556.
Its Arms: On silver field a bend of azure, swallowing by two sinople dragantes, and accompanied by three stars of gold, profiled of sable, one on top and two below; gules bordure, with eight crosses of gold.
