Don Diego Bernardo Jiménez de Morales was created Marquis of Santa Rosa in July 29 of 1723. don Nicolás Jiménez Lobatón y Hazaña, neighbor from Peru, became Marquis of Rocafuerte in March 17 of 1746. don José María Jiménez de Vargas y del Río y Alvarez became Count of Monte Real in September 5 of 1870 and don Carlos Jiménez Gotall Hudson y de la Mata became Marquis of Casa Jiménez and Viscount of Tower Almiranta, in September 20 of 1876.
Its Arms: two-fields shield, 1o. – field of azure and three silver scallops, 2o. – field of gold two gules fess.

the jimenez family crest is a knight with a shild and a cresent moon tilled to the side with a star under it thire are a few other details but i don’t know if it was changed by the diffent parts of the family when they spared though the world this one is probely for the mexican jimenez flamily this is the third crest i’ve seen for the jimenez family

i ment to write it was changed by the diffent parts of the family i am going by what it most likely look like in the late 1400s when thire was only one crest for the whole family and before the jews came to the ameracas and took the name to blen in

You are right to assume that this family crest is one of many versions. Mostly all last names that have a family crest have more than one version and then each version changes through time altered by the generations that inherits the family crest. Thank you for your comments.
