Barroso. Don Pedro Gomez Barroso, one of the leading gentlemen of Galicia, distinguished himself in the conquest of Seville and the trunk was Barroso’s illustrious house in Andalucia. His grandson, also named Pedro Gomez Barroso,w was Cardinal Archbishop of Toledo, Spain. His arms are: Shield of gules and five lions of silver.
Berri. In Navarre: Shield in azure and silver belt loaded with three-bladed sable.
Galdames. Basque name of the place its name, judicial district of Balmaseda (Vizcaya). Don Manuel Galdames of Briton, resident of Alfaro, patent of nobility reached on July 31, 1797. Their arms: In field of gold, four checkered gules, bordure azure with eight gold stars.
Arrieta. Noble family of Navarre, in whose palace or solar home had arms: Shield of gules and a strip of gold bordure of the same color and eight blades of the same metal.
